Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Neon Blue Labs, LLC ("Neon Blue Labs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
Neon Blue Labs, LLC publishes applications on Google Play under the developer name Northstar Utility Studios.
Our Services may include mobile apps, websites, subscription features, AI-assisted tools, image or file uploads, analytics, support, advertising, and other digital products. Not every Service uses every type of data described below. The information we collect depends on the specific Service you use and the features you choose.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
Information You Provide
- Contact information, such as your email address, if you contact support, join a waitlist, create an account, or submit a form.
- Account information, if a Service offers account creation.
- User content, such as photos, images, notes, prompts, comments, feedback, files, or other content you submit.
- Support communications, including messages, troubleshooting details, and attachments you choose to provide.
App And Device Information
- Device type, operating system, app version, language, region, and similar technical metadata.
- Anonymous app installation identifiers or user identifiers.
- Usage events, such as onboarding completion, feature usage, subscription screen views, purchases started, app errors, and other app interactions.
- Diagnostics, crash logs, performance data, and reliability information.
Purchase And Subscription Information
If you purchase a subscription, in-app purchase, or paid feature, payment is generally processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, RevenueCat, or another payment provider. We may receive purchase status, entitlement status, product identifiers, renewal status, expiration status, and related transaction metadata.
We do not collect or store full credit card numbers when payment is handled by Apple, Google, or another third-party payment processor.
Photos, Images, Camera, And Visual Data
Some Services may allow you to capture photos, upload images, or select files from your device. We access your camera, photo library, or files only when you choose to use those features or grant the relevant device permission.
Uploaded images or files may be processed by our backend systems and third-party providers only as needed to provide the Service, such as generating AI-assisted results, saving history, syncing records, or supporting user-requested features.
Unless a specific Service clearly states otherwise, we do not use uploaded photos to perform facial recognition, create biometric identifiers, or build facial feature maps.
We do not sell, rent, or share user-submitted photos, images, files, or prompts with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes unrelated to providing the Service.
AI, Uploaded Content, And Generated Results
Some Services may allow you to upload images, files, text, or other content for AI-assisted processing. In those cases, your submitted content may be processed by our backend systems and third-party AI providers to generate results, summaries, classifications, recommendations, estimates, or other outputs.
Unless a specific Service clearly states otherwise, we do not use user-submitted photos, files, prompts, or other User Content to train third-party AI models.
AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for important decisions. Unless a specific Service expressly states otherwise, AI outputs are informational only and are not professional advice.
Location Information
Unless a specific Service clearly asks for location permission, we do not request precise location from your device. Some providers may infer approximate location from IP address or device/network information.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services.
- Process uploads, prompts, scans, files, photos, images, or other user-submitted content.
- Generate AI-assisted results where applicable.
- Save user preferences, history, or collection records where supported.

- Monitor app performance, diagnose crashes, and fix bugs.
- Understand usage patterns and improve product design.
- Support analytics or advertising where enabled.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, scraping, spam, security incidents, and attempts to bypass paywalls or usage limits.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party providers to operate, analyze, monetize, and improve the Services. These may include:
- Apple App Store and Google Play for app distribution, subscriptions, and in-app purchases.
- RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management.
- Stripe or other payment processors for web payments, if used.
- OpenAI or other AI providers for AI-assisted features.
- Convex, Firebase, Supabase, cloud hosting providers, or similar backend/storage providers.
- PostHog, Google Analytics, or similar analytics providers.
- Sentry or similar crash reporting and error monitoring providers.
- Ad networks such as Google AdMob, if a specific Service displays ads.
- Email, support, or customer communication tools.
These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. We select providers based on the needs of each Service and require them to process information only as permitted by applicable agreements, law, and platform rules.
4. Advertising And Analytics
Some Services may use analytics tools to understand product usage and improve performance. Some Services may also show ads.
Our websites may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure usage, and support analytics or advertising where enabled.
If ads are used, advertising partners may collect or receive device identifiers, app activity, approximate location, advertising identifiers, or other information as permitted by your device settings and applicable law.
Where ads are used, you may be able to limit personalized advertising through your device settings, platform privacy controls, or advertising ID settings.
You can manage certain analytics, advertising, and tracking permissions through your device settings, platform privacy controls, or app-specific settings where available.
5. Purchases, Subscriptions, And Refunds
Purchases and subscriptions made through mobile apps are usually handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We may receive limited purchase and entitlement information so we can provide paid access.
Refund requests for app-store purchases are generally handled by Apple or Google under their policies. For some refund reviews, we may share limited consumption or usage information with Apple or Google where permitted or required to help evaluate a refund request.
6. How We Share Information
We may share information:
- With service providers that help us operate the Services.
- With payment, subscription, analytics, hosting, AI, crash reporting, support, or advertising providers.
- With Apple, Google, or other platform providers for purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and app functionality.
- If required by law, legal process, or government request.
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, our Services, or our business.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell your personal information in the ordinary meaning of selling it for money. Some privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly, especially for advertising or cross-context behavioral analytics. Where required, we will provide applicable choices.
7. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Services, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce terms, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve our products.
Uploaded photos, files, prompts, and generated results may be retained for the period needed to provide the feature, maintain history or saved records where supported, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, comply with law, or fulfill deletion requests, unless a specific Service states a different retention period.
Retention periods may vary by Service. If a Service uses anonymous identifiers rather than accounts, we may not always be able to locate or delete data unless you provide enough information to identify the relevant app installation, account, purchase, or support record.
8. Deletion And Privacy Requests
Users of applications published by Northstar Utility Studios may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting support@neonbluelabs.com.
If a Service allows account creation, we will provide a way to request or initiate account deletion as required by applicable platform rules and law, which may include an in-app deletion option. Deleting an account may not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or another payment provider.
For Services that do not use accounts, account deletion may not apply, and deletion, access, or correction may depend on what identifiers or records are available. You may still contact us about deleting data associated with an app installation, purchase record, or support request where we can reasonably identify it. We may need information such as the relevant app installation identifier, account email, purchase identifier, or support record to locate the data.
Do not send passwords, API keys, payment card numbers, private keys, or unnecessary sensitive information in support requests.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at support@neonbluelabs.com and we will review the request.
Some Services may have higher age requirements depending on their content, platform rules, or applicable law.
11. International Users
Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from your country or region.
12. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. For material changes, we may provide additional notice where required by law.
